Which  of the new rubbers with the so-called built-in glue effect are closest to the old Butterfly Sriver L when it is heavy glued? In terms of speed, hardness and spin

   Thank you,
   Todor

There's none that plays like Sriver L glued..
the closest, IMO, is Tenergy. The others play very differently to Sriver..

No man. Not to everything. I won't recommend Tenergy for someone coming into the game cause the rubber is so fast and has a very high throw..

This rubber plays like Sriver L, which coincidentally is the rubber i used when i started playing TT. But the throw is a bit higher so you need to adjust the angle of your stroke if you move from Sriver L to Tenergy 05.. And you should really get your timing right with this rubber (T05) because as odd as it may sound, the timing and the blade angle of this rubber is different to any other rubbers i have tried.. Confused

I used Sriver EL or L glued for 20 years.
For me the only one that comes close is Stiga Boost TC.
Used it last night in a League match. Didn't notice anything different than playing with glued Sriver.
I would recommend a fast blade though.
Any fast Carbon will do.
