    Posted: 01/26/2009 at 4:06pm
I just got this rubber by Nittaku. the thing that inspired me to buy this was the package, which said: "Warning! do not apply speed glue", so i thought it might be something...

out of the package i glued it on with a thin layed of the bottled DHS no.15 glue. stuck it on and let it air for two days. In the package followed a rubber protective sheet :D, kinda nice. I glued it on my backhandside on a dhs Hurricane King.

Countering
felt nice. really soft. softer than bryce fx, sriver L, neos sound, and moristo 2000. it is not that fast, which is good.

Blocking
This is where the control pays off. Personally, ive never played a rubber that blocks this well, not even bryce. you can really use your wrist to power the ball over on blocking, like waldner does! :D

Looping
Again, splendid control. there is actually a speedglue sound and feel. just what i was hoping for. Its not as spinny as Sriver L or Moristo 2000, but more spinny than bryce. its slower than moristo 2000 and bryce, about the same as sriver L, maybe a little less power, so i guess its about the same as sriver fx. The feel is as if its applied 1 or 2 layers of speedglue. THE SPEED IS NOT, JUST THE FEEL.
Also, low throw

Conclusion
Excellent controll and feel. Power and spin could be more. if ur after more power, might wanna try the "Hard" version. Imma keep this rubber on my BH until i find something else.

The hard version of Nittaku Narucross is being used by some US top players.

What kind of technology it uses? Is it Tensor?

It doesnt have the Tensor logo or Bios logo, but its made in germany. Nittaku has a logo which is like a ball with three spikes out of it and a chunk bitten off and underneeth says "cross+tension". I guess its like Donics Formula something.

I think there may be some technologies like Tensor being developed in Germany that we have no information on. Tensor has released a lot of information about their stuff, so many know about them.

It's Tensor but with other name.

Formula Donic, Tibhar Spi Technology and Yasaka Power Tension are also Tensor.

Have you try Tenergy? Can you compare the two? thanks

ErikaT
Why did you say that? Does it have a consistency problems?

I dont believe its ESN tensor made in Germany. I suppose that Narucross EX and Renanos Bright rubbers are made in Japan. Am I wrong???

the topsheet is thinner, it will be easier to be wear and tear
as a result, i can even feel the difference in the performance drops in my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on plays

in comparison with Tenergy05, Narucross EX soft has more control, because it it less bouncy than Tenergy05. however, Tenergy05 has better durability than Narucross EX soft

its scary asaomi.. for a while my siggy said "DHS Hurricane King FH: stb Whale II tuned, BH Narucross EX Soft. "

lol.

I switched to 729-2 sensor on both sides.. faster, spinnier, more satisfying to me lol. I would recommend it.. only 14 bucks!

If it's a tensor than it's fast enough without tuning sebas-aguirre

what are the main differences between hard vs soft?

i am looking for a rubber for my bh that can help me better in performing fast top spin push n fast push/block for my bh. control is also an important factor for me.

it is better for me to go for soft or hard version?
Now i use DHS Hking 655 but i miss my the moments i use dr neubaeur firewall plus.

little update to the people. been using it for over a month, and its really starting to fade. its like the place i have my pointer when i serve and on the backhand side is starting to disolve. i play about 2-3 times a week. sometimes the entire day with my friend, but not that often.
