I have taken some pics of two American Hinoki table tennis blades: American Hinoki Blades
 
The WRC/Basswodd weigh 82 gm.
The NWC weigh 88 gm.

The extra thin ply is Basswood for the backhand.

The blade is made out of WRC, not NWC. That explains Redish color.
