The review in the link is for a 7p2a7t, not 7p2a.

I have never seen a Septear, but I can't be more happy with my 7p2a7t.  I had considered getting a Septear as a backup, but the price of the Septear has gone up, so if I do want a backup I would just get another 7p2a7t.

Really?  I always think that 7P-2A is more expensive.  Hmm, I must check iruiru now.

Just FYI...
Septear = 6.5mm thick
7p2a = 6.5mm thick
7p2a-7t = 7.0mm thick

Septear loops better than 7p2a-7t, but like TZ said it is more solid for blocking.  Septear also throws a little higher and has a touch more flex. Could be due to .5mm thickness difference. Never played with regular 7p2a.

7p2a series has a ridiculously high throw angle. Ive got one its a nice little blade. I looked into the 7t one time because I wanted more power, but the FL was like 95g or something, and given Darker's smallish handles, it would've been too top heavy.

Wow. Your 7p2a.7t is super heavy. Mine (and one from my friend) is about 85 grs (FL handle). I like 7p2a.7t better than Septear. Septear vibrates too much. When I played with it, I feel as driving the old car which is about to break down. No power and vibrate too much for Septear.
By the way, there are two version of Septear (completely different price). So I guess that I played with no-good version. Ouch

My sources were able to get me a .7t at 80-82g and a Septear well under. :-). I may have grabbed them all; however, put your request into iruiru and they will eventually come through. My sources are all hiding . . . in the shadows!!!

I am not sure the difference. You could check http://shop.ilpp.idv.tw/ . There are two version regular and chinese special select. The price is slightly different now. But 6 month ago, there was $10 difference in price.

No. Ludeack have two/three version at this shop too. Do search again in this shop, then you will see what I mean.
