There are a number of rec centers in Dallas that have a LOT of players. I visited Liberty Rec center south of Plano once and they had 6 or so tables going full blast. DFWTT and Texas Wesleyen among a few other clubs operate. Saturdays at the TWU club looks cool for $5. If you go to any of the DFWTTC or TWU tourneys, you will have the opertunity to meet a ton of players.

I have been playing for about a year and a half, and only do so at my job LOL, so I might play for about an hour a day if Im lucky. I dont have a rating so its hard to explain my skill level, but I would like to find someone that is a little better than myself to train or play with on a regular basis. From a few people that Ive talked to that play and are rated (around 2200) they said I would be close to 1700-1800. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks!
