Which hardness/version did you try? Within the range of Haifu's BWII's there was quite a bit of variation. The 2008 stuff had quality control that made DHS look consistent. Now, they seem to have improved quality control noticeably and the 38, 39 and 40 degree (and don't forget tuned or not tuned) are different enough that a Japanese company might have chosen to call them something like BWII FX, BWII EL or BWII L. Was it the topsheet you didn't like? |

There's a user named F.Z. who glued an H3 Commercial topsheet on a 1.9mm Tenergy. Still haven't seen a review but I expect it to have some kick.
I did try BW2 on a Clipper and to me, it didn't feel that fast. I also wasn't happy that it wasn't that tacky.

Have you tried Gambler Outlaw 2.2? Seemed faster to me than any of the Chinese-made rubbers I have tried before... save for hardest version of BW-II, perhaps... |

Having spent a few months with BWII and H3 Prov Fact Tuned, I can say that the BWII is the fastest chinese rubber I have ever played with. Really good for smashing over the table. With some of BWII's sponges (harder?), you can really feel the difference between the sponge and the topsheet and can give your opponent fits by using just the topsheet on one loop, and then engaging the sponge on the second. The ratio of spin to speed on those two loops is a amazingly different.

If you you get some time and want to spend some more money try a H2 also, it's much more stable with killing the ball etc than h3

If I can use this for 2 months, I am happy. $40/rubber... that means $20/month... not too bad... |

i will prefer tg3 topsheet as a better control rubber..
then tune or change the sponge to a more flexible one..
this compensate the 'too long' dwell time of tg3 sponge.
its my way to deed with chinese rubber of course..
cheers.

Alrighty - have fun with your H3. I certainly liked mine. It felt pretty good on Clipper for me, when I was using it. I must say I liked H3 blue sponge tuned much better than H3 Neo though (it had more life in it).

No, I am not looking for rubbers faster than Japanese/German rubbers. There is no way the Chinese rubbers have that kick. I am looking for the fastest Chinese rubber among Chinese rubbers , if that make any sense to you... I must say. I am impressed with H3 Provincial Tuned that I got from www.powerpingpong.com. They are NOT fast, in fact, they are slow for me, but I like the control. I had fun with a lot of spinny loop. My smashing/hitting was SO BAD with H3 Provincial Tuned This is just for fun guys... |

I am wrong
well if you think H3 neo is going to be faster than BW2, you're sadly mistaken. So if you think H3 Neo is the answer, pleeeeease tell me why.. because its definitely not going to carry his ball over the net any easier.
speedy what hardness of BW2 did you use?
and what hardness h3 did you just order?

Speedy - I must say if you are looking for speed in Chinese rubbers - you will be very disappointed. IMO BW2 is the fastest out of them by quite a bit (faster then any DHS Neo), so if you tried that and you need faster rubber for your style - chinese rubbers are not going to be for you.

I have tried the BW2, and it was slow for me. I can't even get the ball over the net. I used T5000 and Offensive Classic to test. |

one thing for sure- the BW2 black sponge has more power than any DHS sponge. If you can afford BW3, its a bit better in spin/speed dept. Plus, purple looks cool haha.
NEO will be pretty bouncy though.
how did it go with the H2/3 that you have tried before? which did you like more and why? I would think you'd like 2 more than 3.

speedy from your game and your shots, I think you'd like BW2 better than any hurricane. Its a power house, and its meant for driving the crap out of the ball. It's also really good looping rubber.. but it's more difficult to get spin from the topsheet. However, coming from japanese/german rubber i think it'd be an increase.
