I noticed the original poster of this review has now switched to Acuda S3.

Yogi, care to tell us why you found S3 superior to XVE?

Not likely!

If it wasn't superior to XVE, Yogi wouldn't be using it!!!

We EJ's vote with our dollar. Whatever rubber we wind up using for any extended period (more than a week? more than a month?) is usually the result of extensive "testing" (spending) and equipment is not entered into our signature lightly.

For example, if you asked me why I switched to S3 after years of mendo, I would say that I found a rubber that offers superior spin, comparable speed, with no noticeable loss of control. Even on the short game.

It's simply remarkable that DONIC cured me of my loathing of Tensors with one, very well designed sheet of rubber. My dislike of the "supersoft sponge" "soft topsheet" "fragile design" was based on purchases and use of Rapid D.TeCS, DONIC F3, Andro Plasma 380 and Joola Green Energy before I simply gave up on Tensor technology for the 3 years or so it took them to get to Acuda S3.

60+ hours into the sheet and it's still very, very good.

mon, i suggest you get the s3, if you want something faster and harder get the s2

icontek, you're right if you find a rubber that offers more with the same control why not go for it right?

based on yogi's advice ... i ordered acuda s2.

whenever i ordered something based on his reviews, i was not disappointed. so now i am even eager to try out ebenholz  sometimes.
