Saw Carl Prean play here in the late 70 s early 80 s against waldner in a sponsored tournament I looked at his blade and he played with pimples called LINTEC SWING I aquired a sheet and it is the most disruptive pips I ever played with.

you are welcome. And by the way that rubber company was out of business years ago. I found my Swing rubber sometime last year and it is in great condition .

I heard from; Robert Roberts (USA Rated player, over 2500) while he was playing in England, he played against Carl. Robert think that he is one of the best pip player ever played ... I may believe that.

I was a junior at the same time as Carl, he actually made it to world no 18 (men) whilst he was still a junior. His pimples were made by Lentec, not Lintec as previously stated.

Robert is a friend of mine ,He is from barbados as well remember when the guys used to beat him up before he drastically improved.

I like Robert game. He was here in VT passing by, and stoped in our club to hit with us. I had a pleasure to play with him game...........

We used to play together at a club called Ricks He was a speed glue expert rubbers were always in top shape ,he did hit the ball very hard He moved to the Usa ,have not seen hin since that but he did play in the recent tournament in Purto Rico before his injury.

carl had a freakish looking style but he was a good player did not like his style at first but when I saw him dismantle Robert Earl (our best player) with such disdain I gave him his respact.
