Unless I suddenly become rich, I will not be buying another sheet of high quality rubber at Butterfly prices.

I love 05 and believe 80 would suit my forehand the most of all the variations since I also loved 25 and 25fx and 64.

Donic M2 plays close enough to 05 for me to transition away, so 80 is best left in my pocket.

I am however interested in Rasant, feel though it might lack a bit of grunt that m2 offers.

??????? don't know if EJing is worth it when I have found a near enough replacement finally.

M2 does seem to be loosing it's surface a little quicker though, but hey if it less 50% faster at losing it is also 50% cheaper.

I should search up M2 vs Rasant performance and durability next.

boz, how long have you been using your m2 before it lost 50% of its grip?

not bad on day 1. lot of control, slower than ESN rubbers, softer than my 1Q, and of course softer than 1Q-XD. Spin is less than tenergy 05, but lift is as good. pushing is definitely improved, and serves are definitely little compromised still fairly good.

after playing with 1q... it felt very forgiving... except for blocks and smashes.  i might play tenergy 05 till this sheet lasts. after that i will go to Xiom Sigma 2 Pro. oh yes... got to play with that pre-launch rubber.

I haven`t directly compared these two however I currently use both. In terms of performance they are very close in almost every way. The main difference is the throw angle which makes BF the better looping rubber and Rasant the better blocking/hitting rubber.

@Debraj: Did you try on your BH or FH? What about blocks and smashes were different from 1Q is it the throw ? How was it opening and counter hits in comparison with 1Q?
