Today two our girls Ludmila Shvaiko and Arina Pogosyants won Siberia's championship among women doubles under 19, and they are just 13. We are very proud of them.

V nice - & that is just about her TT prowess :) !
Is that the same girl you initially started this thread for or is it someone else? If so, her FH seems to have gotten even more physical / aggressive. Does she have any kind of a Russian or Siberian ranking? Out here in the US, the top girls (Crystal Wang, Lily Zhang, etc) have a VERY different style (that is similar to a traditional chinese girls style of play). It would be very interesting to see her play against that sort of a player. I can't predict how she would do though I'd probably give the US girls an edge for their superior at the table footwork, better recovery times, ability to keep the ball low and spinny. But there is a lot of local bias in my statement that I need to discount down...

It is the same Anastasia. She doesn't have ranking as she can't afford to travel to ranking tournamets, she plays only at our home town. But she won our region's 2014 championship and Siberia's silver medal at teams chapionship when it was held in our city.

I do not normally play mixed doubles but if I ever do I want to play with a Cool Siberian Girl. Especially either of the young ladies in that last match. Of course, being a true southern gentleman, I would never actually inflict either of them with the painful experience of having to play with such a bad partner as myself. As usual, great videos.
