I am not a modern defender, but from time to time I chop and only with the T64 I manage to give serious problems to my opponents. Even with T05 I can't do that, although it is a bit slower. VJ is too bouncy for my chops and the spin isn't so strong. My blade is Hallmark Carbon Extreme. I've got 4 of them , all at around 68g

I think VJ works for my chopping because I use a slower defensive blade. I'm sure it'd be too bouncy on an offensive blade for chopping consistently.
