FS: Sardius old tag brand new

   FS: Butterfly Sardius (FL, 89g) in brand new, unused, and unglued condition.  The blade has the old Butterfly metal tag, no serial number, and the lens on both the front and back of the handle are completely flushed or flattened against the rest of the handle.  Similar to Dean's 1st edition Viscarias.  That said, this Sardius should also be a 1st Edition blade.  The blade only has two very very tiny dings on the edge for mishandling.  The rest of the blade is in pristine condition.

	Flushed and Flatened lense yes, your blade really seems to be old, but there were also Sardius models made that had old (german/romanic/latin) font script on blades head, These should be even older. Anyway,it is a nice blade in good condition Edited by Timo1978 - 12/14/2013 at 9:51am

	Sirs That Sardius is not the oldest model. The print (Romans fonts) on the face as this is on my uncle's Sardius which he gave to me is, according to him, the oldest. He does not like this blade neither do I because it is too hard & stiff. I don't know where I put this blade now. I think the normal ones still can be bought from Taiwan or SE Asia which was where my uncle got his.
