I currently have hurricane 3 neo on my forehand and roundel soft on my backhand on the Timo Boll ALC blade. I used to like the hurricane 3 but lately have been having trouble with the ball constantly going into the net when smashing or looping. It might have to do with the rubber not having as much tackiness as it used to. Is there a better recommended combination that I can use for the forehand? Also I think roundel soft is okay but there is probably something better for the backhand. Would hammond pro beta work well on the timo boll alc? My USATT rating is in the 1700 range if that makes a difference.
FH Rubber: Xiom Vega Pro
BH Rubber: Hammond Pro Beta
Blade: Timo Boll ALC

You could try Hammond Pro Beta. Maybe also Donic Baracuda that is a pretty decent backhand rubber, has good control and a bit of extra pace also. Sounds like the Hurricane may have worn down a bit. How old is the rubber?

using hurricane 3 for smash the ball is little bit difficult but it's possible because i can do it...
for easier... try to use Stiga Boost TC or XIOM Vega Pro
I think both are enough... but if you look for something great, Tenergy 05 n 64 are the best

I got the rubber with the blade back in October and I usually play about 3 or 4 days a week. And thanks, well I would try tenergy but I don't really want to pay $65 for a sheet of rubber. Maybe Xiom vega pro though

Try Donic Baracuda or Acuda S1 or S2. Pretty good price for rubbers on TTNPP.com. Suits well on a fast blade as TB ALC.
