If you don't think your local distributor is carrying the right stock write to the manufacturer, if the service is bad write to the manufacturer, if they have things listed on their website that they don't have have in stock complain to the manufacturer that they represent. Do something about it and things might change.

If they claim to have it in stock but take weeks to send it, if they don't contact you straight away and let you know that they are out of stock and let you have a refund then complain. Don't take it do something. All the manufacturers have websites, don't take it anymore.

A typical first world problem. Complaining over nothing.
Seriously, a simple phone call to your local distributor and a quiet constructive discussion is more appropriate. Furthermore, the bit about refund is only applicable to certain countries, e.g. Australia because of the consumer law. Also, if a particular item is not in stock then that's life. Don't stress over it, not the end of the world. But shaun729, just between you and me, it is cheaper buying from overseas and there's more to choose from :) One reputable and good priced online shop is www.tabletennis11.com (up to 30% off rubbers and blades - see their terms and conditions). Takes about 2 weeks for the purchase to arrive to Australia. Edited by hithithit - 07/27/2014 at 2:44am |

Of course you try and settle it here first. I don't like it when they won't just admit they don't have it in stock. It's called customer service. Good luck if you want to buy Butterfly from another country.

Butterfly here is okay, I mean if you want to get something they don't stock then you're not allowed to buy it from another country because Butterfly won't let their distributors sell outside their home countries

Customer service is not always perfect but I am sure if you discuss with them nicely, then you could find surprising results.
As for getting official and genuine Butterfly products from overseas, you just need to know how. In this particular case, I am not referring to TT11, just to make that clear. Nor will I discuss publicly or privately on how - local distributors do need to make a livIng too. Bottom line: 1) buying from local distributors - local law protection, if any. If it has a store, you could probably visit and try out equipment before makIng any purchase decision. 2) buying from overseas - risk of getting scammed if you are not an experienced shopper.
