I've never played with speed-glued rubbers.
I've been told that back in the speed-glue days, few can beat speed-glued Sriver, except if you preferred Chinese rubbers. What was your speed-glued rubber of choice? What speed-glue effect rubbers do you feel come close to it? Can there ever be a speed-glue effect rubber that can match or exceed the speed-glue feel and performance? Why doesn't (or can't?) Chinese manufacturers come out with their own speed-glue effect rubbers? |

Honestly speaking, after several layers of speed glue, all rubbers play the same...

Mark V 30deg with a few layers of speed glue was pretty awesome. Some of the soft Tensors come close for looping, but don't offer anywhere near the control and touch that the Mark V 30deg did.

using stiga energy speed glue: mark v 30 on a stiga energy wood joola mambo with on a donic waldner senso (the gym stopper). it's a gym stopper because the cork/pop sound was so loud, everybody in the gym would stop and wonder what that absurd noise was :)

Absolotuely loved Joola mambo/ sriver EL back then. Moderns rubbers may have more speed/spin, but nothing can match that feel
