ZJK vs Aruna Quadri

good match ! Aruna came to this round as an underdog, with powerful forhand, won the first match but if he stay calm and didn't make mistakes, it could be a close game ! Clap

A great match.

With these new balls, players are really attacking serves even more than before.

JZK vs TB

Timo was in the lead in almost every game but he let ZJK caught up. May be Timo is getting old, he missed a lot of loop/smash shots. feel sorry for him he had many chances to win

sounds like a stunt to me; all scripted by zjk and ittf to promote the sport through a new communication strategy. the champ might have had a $78,000 check behind the scene for his kicking action.

No, I think all this success went to his head. Uneducated twat! I mean, what's the point in being hailed as the best player in the world if you can't afford to kick a few panels?

This could be from the sponsors?

I'm not sure how these files work? I downloaded the three Boll versus Ovtcharov files. Each Rar file seems to contain a file of the same name (ending with *.ts). And none of the files finished decompressing without an error about wrong password (I used "amigo"). So: what is the right password? How do I combine three parts into one video? And what is a .ts file?

I'm still confused by their usage.

First, the Ovtcharov v. Boll match is downloaded in three parts. However, inside each .rar compressed file is a single file of the same name: "OVTCHAROV Dimitrij vs. BOLL Timo.ts". So I don't understand how the three parts work together except to just play each one separately.

Second, what app plays *.ts? I use VLC Player most of the time and I don't see that it supports it.

Third, did anyone have any luck unpacking the .rar files using the password "amigo"? Every time I tried it failed.

I made some progress but still having problems.

I downloaded all three Ovtcharov versus Boll files. In all three files, decompressing the rar file at some point leads to an error message about bad password and CRC check fail.

For the Part 1 file, I got most of the file decompressed and was actually able to play it. It shows the match through the first three games.

For the part 2 and part 3 files, I got the error message near the beginning and the result was an unplayable file.

So I need the right password. Anyone know the password?

If you finished downloading all three parts, unzip only the first file using the password (amigo). There´s no other password. When you unzip first file, your computer will recognize the whole video and will unzip it completely.
I´m able to watch the video in Windows Media Player (I have K-Lite Codec Pack), or directly in my LCD TV via USB pendrive.

Thanks for the help but I'm still confused.

For Part 1, I used the password "amigo". I used 7-Zip to unencrypt the rar file and it made it almost to the end before it said the CRC check failed due to bad password. The file is about 2 GB in size and plays in VLC Player for about 25 minutes, showing the first three games of the match. That much video looks great!

For Parts 2 and 3, I tried using both the password "amigo" and using no password. Each time, when I unpack the file I get the error message about CRC failure due to bad password (regardless of which password I use). I do end up with partial files (.ts files) but they won't play.

I thought this match was only four games long, so I don't know why there is a part 2 and part 3 to show only the fourth game. So how much of the match should be in Part 1, how much in part 2, and how much in part 3?

Actually, after re-reading your post, it sounds like you're saying that when I unpack Part 1, it should already automatically pull the video out of part 2 and part 3 and put it all together. Hmmm... and I do have *almost* the whole match. Is this right? That I don't need to unpack parts 2 and 3 separately?

Maybe there´s some problem with this match. I didn´t download it, only Zhang Jike matches and unzipped them without problems.

OK, I've figured it all. It's just a matter of being very precise in the instructions:

1) Download all the parts of a given match to the same folder.
2) You MUST leave the file names as their original names. This is where I blew it, because I changed the names when I downloaded them.
3) Unpack the first file using the password "amigo". You don't need to unpack the other parts.
4) The result will be a single file of type <match name>.ts. Even though I was unfamiliar with ts files, in fact they play in almost everything nowadays.

The Boll-Ovtcharov match appears to be the full match. Unfortunately, it appears the Boll-Zhang and Boll-Mizutani matches are only short serves (about 15 minutes). The overall video quality is stunning.

Thanks, TT newbie, for finding these.

Not sure if you guys agree, it seems that the effect of the new ball is showing up at the highest level of play - power players were (slightly) less threatening than before.  Probably explains why Timo Boll beat Ovtcharov, and ML got so far with ZJK.  ZJK seemed to play closer to the table than usual, possibly to make up for the decrease in power.

It'll be interesting to see how players adapt.
