Hi,
I am an advanced beginner and I am thinking of buying a new Table Tennis bat.

At the moment I play with Palio TCT (OFF+) blade with Palio CJ8000 (BIOTECH) (H40-42) rubber on both sides.
I find this combination of blade + rubber a bit fast for me, and it makes difficult to control the ball sometimes. My stile of game is probably All-Round, Attacker.

Do you think it will make a difference to keep the blade and choose a different rubber? There are thousands different rubbers from different brands and it is difficult to choose without trying them first. Some of them (like Butterfly Tenergy) are quite expensive.

Is it worth spending money on a better blade and rubber or maybe I should keep practising with what I already have?

Your blade is too fast. If you are playing an all-round style then an OFF+ blade is the wrong choice. Get an ALL+ or OFF- blade and maybe some softer rubber like Focus 3 snipe
Blade - Xiom 36.5 ALX FL
Forehand - Xiom Omega V Asia 2.0mm
Backhand - Victas Curl P5V with Der Materialspezialist Firestorm Soft/Outkill 1.8mm sponge

Thanks. I am thinking of buying Stiga Allround NCT or Stiga Allround Classic. Any other rubber could you  recommend for this type of blades?

Stiga Allround Classic would be your best choice in my opinion. Or an Infinity VPS-V.
As General suggested, a soft rubber.
Quality over quantity

NCT head size is a little small. Last I had an All Around Classic it was actually faster (ALL+) than I thought it would be - should be a good speed level for you; I would go with that one. Medium soft rubbers - nothing as expensive or fast as Tenergy.

Xiom Musa 2. I've tried Musa and it's an excellent controlled rubber. The updates Xiom releases are always improvements so Musa 2 should probably be an improvement aswell. I've only been able to find here at ttnpp though http://ttnpp.com/store/xiom/744-xiom-musa-ii-2-6.html

Stiga Allround Evolution or BTY Primorac and a soft rubber 2.0 will make a difference along with some good coaching.
Wood Paddle
Red side
Black side.

I really like the new Stiga Airoc M, works great with the Allround Classic.
