I also feel the same.

Although I don't like the Viscaria I agree that 86g is the prefect weight on a blade!

Kinda strange/odd that I find 86g-87g All wood blades work wonder for me, just can't explain why tho'....My Viscaria FL, 88g w/ T80s works so well but others (my old buddies @ the club) thought that it's just too much/bouncy/fast yet it's just fine with me. I must have some kinda "delicate" hand feeling...Big smile

I think it's bad by the company that it can change so much in weight from blade to blade, I mean 10g makes a lot of difference when you play. Of course it's hard to get every blade exactly the same but 10g is to much of a difference..

??

that's like saying why aren't all diamonds flawless or why this steak is a different shape than the one next to it.

Blades can be snowflakes, fine.  But then manufacturers or vendors should work out some kind of system for allowing players to purchase blades weighing what they want.

It would be nice is reputable vendors weighed their inventory and made that an available purchase option.  The current system of advertising one specific weight and then mailing out a blade within 10g sucks.  A simple way to win my business and distinguish yourself among online table tennis vendors...

Actually a lot of vendors will do that when they have sufficient stock, but Viscarias are often back ordered, so it is not so easy to find them in an exact weight.  A few years back, before ZJK, when I wanted one at 88g, I would specify that to Megaspin and that's what I would get.  So all of my blades are reasonably close to that.  Still, weight is not all there is to it, and some of my blades are better than others.
