I am currently playing with the Tibhar SPW, which I do like quite a bit. But EJ has set in so I just ordered a new Xiom Zetro Quad. It is coming from TT11, so I won't see it for at least a couple weeks.
The Zetro will be my first experience with a composite blade. Wondering if anybody has any direct comparison between these two blades. Also wondering if anybody knows how these two compare for head size. Paddle Palace lists the SWP as 158x152 and the XZQ as 157x150. I know different blades have different head shapes. I ordered a couple new rubber sheets which will get here before the new blade and I would like to try them on the SPW until the XZQ shows up. I just want to make sure they will still fit on the XZQ after they are cut for SPW, otherwise I might just wait to try the new rubber until the new blade shows up. That is great to know. With the holidays, it could be a whole before I get the new blade from Estonia.
How does the Zetro compare to the the SPW in terms of speed and control? Edited by Cochese - 12/17/2014 at 12:53pm |
