hey, asking one more time for help(cant find my last post). Currently using stiga mapplewod nct 5 with t05(fh) t80(bh), fh is perfect but still cant find comfortable bh rubber, tried t80 (too fast) - victas limber (too spin sensitive) - cornileus target sound (too soft and slow). Maybe someone can consider me a bh rubber? which is not that fast as t80 and not spin sensitive as victas? have in mind trying acuda s2 or vega europe, any other opinions? ;) thanks tom

Have you considered bryce? Behaves kind of like T80, is not sensitive to spin (but like T80, does not make much spin either compared to other modern rubbers), and slower than T80. It was a popular BH rubber in the past and comes in a variety of flavors (hard, soft, speed, original, etc.).

Theres omega iv euro, omega v euro. Personally, nothing beats my sigma 2 pro on bh. Its a powerhouse if you can generate speed on your bh. Flicks, pushes, rallys. Nothing comes close to it.
I have ben using aurora for a few days now. Will probably put it on my dads cpen and go back to sigma or omegaiv pro for bh. |

Big Dipper. Cheap, not too fast, tensor feel, pretty versatile.

Acuda S2 and Vega Europe are great choices for backhand rubbers, you could also try Donic Baracuda or Bluefire M3, those are also decent backhand rubbers. The list of choices is endless, Acuda S2 would be the best one to try first.

Issn't Bryce made for the speed glue? I remember playing with it for many years ago but is it still good without speed glue? Is there not any newer rubbers that suits the poly ball better?

I would not put Acuda S2 in the same pot as any Xiom rubber. Acuda will not last as long, and will shrink like mad (particularly if you remove it from the blade to reglue it)
I'd recommend Vega Asia (many chinese who do not play with T64 on BH use Vega Asia, but I'm yet to try it) / Europe (soft and bouncy) / Japan (least durable of the Vega range, but used by many forumers on BH with satisfation), or Omega IV Pro (a tad more expensive than Vega range, but lasts forever, and very similar to T80, with slightly lower throw, massive spin, yet not so sensitive). FWIW, I have Omega IV Pro on my BH right now.

T25FX is the safest to keep you in the game while you develope your BH loops and banana flicks...
Why? It plays shorter than most rubbers in passive play, noodling, pushing and blocking (awesome) and rips when you go for it ... After you learn the BH looping aspects of your game with T25FX you'll be up and running to change to something more lively, if you wish... |

okey, situation sounds like this: i bought acuda s2 for bh, wanted 2mm but got max thickness one and tried in bh, but after training session changed it to fh - love it. before i was using omega 4pro for fh and now for backhand it's too hard and fast. what should i look for bh now? :) some player recommended me to try rakza 7, any other recommendations?
thanks,tom

I suspect Razka 7 will be faster than you want, based on your original post...
My recommendation still stands... |
