Koto is a hardwood, limba soft. So limba is for away from the table attacking whilst koto is for close to the table stuff.

Neither of them feel too heavy, though by their grams I guess they are a little above average.
As for their speed, the 700 did seem faster than the 777...but I can try using them again next week. |

I thought 777 is faster according to the description. Is 777 realy heavy? Which do you like better? |

I own one and have used both, the 700 is faster and a tad heavier. As mentioned, the 777 is easy to speed glue as the rubber comes off easyier (due to varnish).

What are the differences between the two except one is varnished and the other is not? Which is faster and which feels better?
