Just bought a Rakza X from a local seller for about $35, need to confirm if it's the real rubber as I've not played with it before. A couple of things which raised my doubt is that there was no protection sheet inside the packing and the rubber states JTTA, whereas the Yasaka rubbers I bought a few times from TT11 didn't say that.
Here have a look please and tell me what you think is this real Rakza X or a copy: http://i61.tinypic.com/2cercc3.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/ab5seu.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/fuz5mq.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/2yoqpf9.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/52yoah.jpg Thanks |

I remember my fd's Rakza ( 7 & X) rubbers have a JTTA stamps, and she always says "JTTA" means a better quality then the rest .

The Rakza 7 I got a few times from TT11 doesn't say JTTA, although the one Rakza 7 Soft I got from them said JTTA on it.

I don't think that Japanese/European rubbers usually come with protection sheets, just like a slip of paper usually.

Strange because I've always used Rakza series and some of them had this plastic sheet and some didn't, so made me wonder if I was getting genuine product or not. Have you looked at the pictures I've posted, see anything fake about the rubber at all??? |

My RakzaX looks like yours. I think yours is real. The price you paid is pretty good.
I haven't seen the protective sheets with the Rakza rubbers in the last couple of years. Prior to that they were included. Edited by Snakefish - 08/02/2015 at 1:18pm |

Thanks, how have you found Rakza X compared to 7 and 7 soft? Do you like it more or less? |

RakzaX is nothing to write home about. It doesn't do anything special for it to stand out. It feels & plays harder than Rakza7 even though I'm playing it on a limba outer ply. But it does not feel harder than Rakza9. I'd still use R7 overall depending on your blade. And it's faster thna Rakza7 soft. |

I've used Rakza X for 4 sessions now and I think it's just a little faster than Rakza 7 but has less spin. It has less spin on serves and much lower arch. I've used the old ball with it not tried it with the new ball, maybe it will play better with the new ball? I liked Rakza 7 control more but I have enjoyed Rakza 7 Soft control the most. So now I'm using Rakza 7 Soft on my FH for it's nice dwell time and allows me to keep looping :P Edited by unstopabl3 - 08/04/2015 at 5:06am |
