Recently I have been playing with Boost TC (FH) on my Samsonov Alpha SGS.  It is not my rubber of choice, but since it is lying around unused, I put it on my Alpha SGS and play with it.  It is surprisingly OK, considering it is a soft rubber.  I prefer harder rubber (not Chinese rubbers though).

Last few days, I started using my Samsonov Force Pro.   Since it is faster than my Samsonov Alpha SGS, I scaled down on FH rubber, using only standard Mark V.  The reason I use Mark V (beside to scale down on speed), it is also my benchmark test rubber.   I always use Mark V to test my various blades so I get the feeling right (since I know Mark V characteristics very well).

Now, I know how Samsonov Force Pro (SFP) play.  Mine is 88 grams, but when attached with 2 Mark V rubbers, it feels surprisingly light, even lighter compared to my other blades (with same rubbers) with weight in the lower 80.  It feels even lighter than my Alpha SGS.   I suspect that the balance is perfect (not head heavy nor handle heavy).  My Alpha SGS is rather head heavy.   Performance wise, to my surprise, SFP (7-ply) plays like 5-ply blades, although you can feel it is stiffer on heavy shot, but overall, it is like 5-ply on steroids.  Personally I don't like 7-ply but I like this SFP.  And I think of using it for my serious play, so I need to get suitable rubbers.

I think that my current Boost TC will not suit this blade, since SFP feels soft. (Soft blade + soft rubber are not my thing).   Since I don't EJ for a long time, I need your advise:

What modern rubbers that behave like lightly glued Mark V.  I don't glue my Mark V, but I mean what tensors behave like glued Mark V??

Are:  Razka 7, Baraccuda, Aurus good for SFP?

Many thanks.

Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber
BH : red rubber

Look in the other direction for Japanese rubbers with high-density sponge, something like TSP Agrit.
Viscaria FL - 91g
+ Neo H3 2.15 Blk - 44.5g(55.3g uncut bare)
+ Hexer HD 2.1 Red - 49.3g(68.5g 〃 〃)
= 184.8g

Rakza 7 would be ok, but potentially might still feel a little too slow. You could look at something like Acuda S2 which is faster but still focused on heavy spin. Also Donic Bluefire JP01 which is an attacking styled rubber with a less dense sponge and more focus on touch and feeling.

I think if you are just looking for something similar but faster than Mark V then you really want to find something with reasonable speed but still a very balanced rubber so from your 3 options, Baracuda is potentially the best suggestion from there.

Which Samsonov Force Pro? Blue or Black Edition?

Lightly glued Mark V is either Aurus or Rhyzm.

The blue handle is an excellent blade. Fantastic control. Put anything on it you like.
