Hi Just wanted to know the characteristics of the following rubber. Infact what is the difference between the three Carbo rubbers. I guess Carbo sound is softest among the three! |

carbo sound topsheet is not spinny at all. if you want to creat some spin you have to reglue it and hit hard.
but ball feeling is superb and sound is really clicky... |

Well, I have never tried the rubbers myself, but my retailer claims that the regular Carbo is rated 10+ in speed, while sound is 9+ and MC is 8. Sounds accurate since carbo has a harder sponge then carbo sound. One at my club playes Carbo sound and he is very satisfied with its carateristics. Offcourse knowing that its not a tacky surface so you have to "force" the spin with some power. |
