I need from help.
When I use topspin I have a problem with correct movement from elbow (forearm).
I dont know how to use it. I have to use it at the moment of the contact - both wrist and forearm? Or.....? Thank you in advance. |

try to keep your elbow down, and accelerate forearm and wrist over the ball, contact point should be preferably on top of the bounce.

I have to use my elbow(forearm) at the moment of the contact or after that?

The forearm snap is mainly used to generate more spin. The drive for the ball (what propels it forward) is from the hips and legs. You use the forearm snap at the point of contact to generate extra spin. You'll see this on the Ma Long video. For loop against underspin the forearm snap becomes greater as you need to spin the ball more in order to lift it.

Before/at the moment of contact. After that, you are wasting your time.

I like putting heavy topspin on the ball...

I find people should start thinking about the mechanics to generate spin and power. Understanding of motion, force, and where you should contact the ball makes you a better player, as you can correct your own technique. Why would anyone accelerate (use forearm acceleration) after the ball has left the racket? (unless it's a dummy) Every crucial element of technique occurs before the contact. Regarding your elbow, the answer has already been given. Use it as the fulcrum, so keep it low (and steady, no wobble)
