Medium pips for def blade.

I thing about play a medium pips. I want chop like marumatsu and attack near table. I was playing 2 years a long pimples but attack is not enough. I choose spinlord keiler and tsp spinpips 2 but tsp is expensive.

Globe 888 is a good attacking medium pips. It's super cheap. You can get it on Ebay for less than 10 bucks. It plays closer to short pimples than long pimples. The pimple are quite firm, but they don't have very much friction, so they do offer some deception. I gave medium pips a go for awhile, but ended up preferring short pimples. If you want something with a little bit more deception you could try Nittaku Pimple Mini. The Pimple Mini is a difficult rubber to master. If you come to Vietnam, I'll give you some sheets of both. LOL I have some old ones laying around.

I've heard that Muramatsu is using TSP super spin pips (Don't sure which type of sponge). This one is short pips. I tried SSP(1.0-1.3 mm-21 sponge) on both JSH and DEF2.JSH blade is too fast and too hard for me, DEF2 is better for me but now I prefer Nittaku KVU with Spectol(1.4-1.7normal sponge).
If you still want to try medium pips I suggest the medium pips that close to short pips .
But however, transition from LPs to SPs/MPs game is not easy. You have to endure during transitions, It will need half of year to consistent your stroke.

If you are referring to TSP Super Spin Pips Chop 2, its not even a medium pip. Its a short pip. Medium pimples won't be very spinny for the most part. What is your playing level? Do you have a rating?
