You're right about Koto being different, except WSC is Limba topped.  Koto does feel different than Limba holds upon contact — Limba usually holds the ball longer than Koto, as it is softer on the Janka scale.  While koto tends to "bite" the ball really hard, and spit it out quickly, with a good spin (Limba has to hold the ball longer to get the same spin).  If the Innerforce is Limba topped (I have no experience with one) perhaps he'd like that better.  

Sounds like he's sticking with WSC, which is what I would vote for.
