How is the play (bounce and speed) of Joola Tour 2500 when compared with other 1 inch table? I'm thinking of buying one. I'm surprised that it's so much cheaper than other branded 1 inch tables. I've heard good things about it and there are many positive reviews on amazon. However some people say it's slower than Stiga tables. Is that true?

It's a nice quality table. I would recommend it. Super heavy though, make sure you have someone to assist if you are planning to set it up downstairs in your basement (like I did)

If you have the money, buy Butterfly, Stiga, or Donic.
If you have a budget, the Joola Tour 2500 in my opinion, is the best table for your money. Reason why it's an attractive price? It's made in China. The bounce is tournament calibre fast. The top surface is kinda glossy which helps the bounce to be fast. It's bounce is similar to DHS and Doublefish tables. I'll describe the bounce effect of the ball as kinda "slides-like". This does not affect your play though. It "looks" like a high end table too. It's not slower than Stiga Optimum 30 or Butterfly Europa 25 or Centrefold 25 Would I buy it? Yes, based on a budget. Great. Thanks to both posters. I'm going to order the table today. But I'm wondering:
If the play of Joola Tour 2500 is as good as Butterfly Centerfold 25, then why is JT2500 not ITTF approved? I know that BC25 has a much longer warranty, but that can't be the reason since at international tournaments, tables are used once and then sold as tournament-used.

Or you wait until mid January for the 2017 Aurora Cup after which they will sell the Joola SC3000 tournament table for half the original price and they would have been only used for 2 days. See page 4 of the attached tournament brochure.

I believe that getting the ITTF approved logo requires manufacturers to submit an application, samples, etc. They don't market this table as a tournament grade table, and they wanted to lower cost. So why bother with the certification process which will drive the price up.
