Hey NEXY fans,
you may have read about Karis M and Karis M+, the new unique inverted rubbers from NEXY: here is the announcement; and here what makes them special. More pictures and information in the nexy.com store: Karis M, Karis M+. Oscar (user Nexy in this forum), is offering a free pair of Karis rubbers (one Karis M and one Karis M+, total value $100) to 10 players in this forum that are willing to test and review the rubber. Here is the deal:
Qualified testers need to have a sound history of reviewing table tennis equipment. You can apply by posting in this thread (NOT by PM to me!) and adding a few words explaining your experience in reviewing table tennis equipment and one or more links to reviews you wrote. Preference goes to testers that can put the rubbers in perspective, so please specify how you plan to review the rubbers and to what you would compare them. Qualified testers will be chosen by Oscar and myself. Deadline for applying as qualified tester is December 28, 12:00 GMT (that's noon). Lucky testers will be decided by lot. Any forum user may apply as lucky tester. You can apply by posting in this thread (NOT by PM to me!) and adding a number between 56 and 4849. To win, you must be among the 5 users that come closest to the number resulting from the concatenation of the LAST two numbers of the German Lotto "6aus49" of the December 31, 2016, draw (that's the fifth and sixth number, the "Super" number is ignored). A few examples: each number drawn is between 1 and 49 and numbers are displayed in ascending order, so if the last two numbers are "8" and "24", the winning number is 824; if the last two numbers are "12" and "45", the winning number is 1245. The draw is at 19:25 German time. Deadline for applying as lucky tester is December 31, 12:00 GMT (that's noon). If your post was modified, it's the "last modified" date that counts. In case of draw, the user having a post with earlier posting/last modified date wins. This may sound complicated, but we needed to find a random number generation mechanism that is transparent and tamper-proof. The results of the draw will be visible here (in German) and here (in English). In case of conflict, the German results are official. In case that for any reason there is no draw on December 31, the numbers of the subsequent draw will be used. You are free to apply both as qualified and lucky tester. For fairness, we will try to announce qualified testers before the draw on December 31, but no guarantee. Selected testers (both qualified and lucky) are expected to order any item (even small) from the Nexy Tabletennis store and pay shipping costs to their location (likely about 20$). On top, they will get one Karis M and one Karis M+ rubber for free. Testers will be able to select color and thickness of the two rubbers. In exchange for the free rubbers, testers are expected to test the rubbers for at least a few training sessions and to post a fair review of the rubbers in this forum. Selected testers will be announced here and receive detailed instructions about how to proceed by PM. If you have questions, please post them publicly in this thread. Thanks and good luck! |

PPHolic would like to be a qualified tester.
Will be putting M+/M on my RPB, as well as handshake on both wings. Would compare these against the likes of Vega Asia DF/Airoc S/Aurus Sound/etc Tibhar Kim Jun Hoon Cpen http://pingpongholic.blogspot.fr/2015/12/pphs-tibhar-kim-jun-hoon-chinese.html Nexy Arirang http://pingpongholic.blogspot.fr/2013/12/nexy-arirang-cpen-tournament-results.html

I would like to be considered as a qualified tester of the Nexy Rubicon blade and Karis M/M+ rubbers. I have previously tested the Nexy Zealot (here) and have reviewed many rubbers for tabletennis11.com on their blog (here), e.g., the Evolution series or the DHS H3 rubbers.

As a long-time fan of Nexy and their approach to equipment development, I'd love to give Karis a try as a qualified reviewer. I've reviewed a fair amount of stuff in the past.

Well, I have also reviewed a bunch of Nexy blades before:
but to be honest: I don`t think, that my reviews are as good as the reviews of some other members like patrickhrdlicka, AndySmith or yogi_bear. Compared with them I would not call me a "qualified tester". But I really like to test these Karis rubbers, because I never played with ANY Nexy rubber before. Therefore I will try to become one of the "lucky testers". I hope, the number 438 will be a good choice for me. Edited by Magic_M - 12/21/2016 at 2:00pm |

Please count me in for both qualified tester and lucky tester #4056
I mostly use H3 and TG3 (prov and national) on my main dhs blades and tenergy on backhand or on my hinoki blades. I occasionally use MX-P and MX-S on my second tier blade as well. Below are my other reviews: Hurricane Bo : http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=75317&KW=&PID=930100&title=2016-hurricane-bo-b1-and-b2#930100 Tibhar Hybrid K1, Hurricane 3-65: Yinhe PD437 and Sanwei National Target: Contribution to identify fake national dhs blade :-) Edited by qualizon - 12/22/2016 at 5:24pm |

I would love a chance to be a tester. I've done a couple of reviews for Patrick's Gewo Contest and my own Calix 2 review. I currently play with Nexy Z blade and have Olam, Calix II, Spear, & Qabod. Thanks for any consideration.
Forgot to add lucky #1625 as I'm sure the other people asking to be qualified tester are much more qualified than me. Edited by bptse - 12/21/2016 at 9:46pm |

Man, I just got in a batch of Karis and now I see I could score some for free... awh shucks. Karis M is a boss vs incoming topspin, isn't a power rocket, but you land shots.

Lucky tester. 500. Most of my reviews are on TT11.com but I'd be cool with doing a YouTube review and compare against some of my Tenergy and DHS setups.
