All wood. Their fast wood blades have always been the ultimate and the martin, not the virtuoso +.
I’m curious about the sweet spot on ulti 2 as well. Edited by ohwell - 11/29/2017 at 10:50am |

Is there a different e-mail of OSP from what shows on their website?
I send a message to them a few days ago. In a normal situation I could wait more, but I don't want to take too long this time because I intend to buy Ultimate II before they sell everythin...

Lol, that was neither meant as advice, nor as an informed statement. The OSP isn't even in customers' hands yet. At this point it's just about enthusiasm on my end, and this new chapter in OSP's exploration of forward thinking 7 ply wood construction (thinner, but harder 3rd layer and such) captures mine better than Violin carbon atm.

I don't think so It looks as if there is a composite layer under the outer veneer.

It is dificult to judge from the first picture, but on the second picture the 2nd layer looks to be wood only. I think it is a 7 ply allwood.
Also, if it was a composite blade they would put this info on their website for sure.

That second layer looks like dark wood to me. The color pattern seems way too uneven to be a composite weave. It just seems to have nice contrasts, might this be something like Wenge?

Just got the Joola Rhyzer 48 and 43 degrees. Too bad.i have.limited time playing tem since my tennis elbow is still hurting. The two new rhyzers are simply amazing. They feel hard and the topsheet seems to be medium and not soft.

Rhyzm-p is good but topsheet erodes fast. Te rhyzer 43 feels like the rhyzm p but it is far bouncier and topsheet is grippier. |

Don't go for Rhyzm-P, you will be disappointed. Topsheet has not so strong grip and durability is bad. Sponge is ok, but you can't play with sponge only. What about Rhyzer 48 and 43, looking for more information from Yogi |
