I tested that rubber for the first time (on the robot only) and I was very impressed; it was a used sheet that I slapped on a vega pro; the sponge is ideally hard and bouncy; maybe just a tad too bouncy but the liveliness is so enjoyable. I do not know how I will do in matches but the pleasure I had hitting and looping v. the newgy makes it a special rubber to me,
It maybe is too fast for my level (1800 something, but much higher in my head :) but so quick and linear at the same time so I was comfy with it.
I think it is a tensor? if that's the case it is the best tensor I have played so far: bluefire m1 and m2 are great and I find cornilleau target ultim 47.5 right in between. Palio blit'z has been a strong reference to me and that target ultim is better. Rhyzm and Genius are so cool and I place Targert Ultim a bit above those too in terms of instant rewarding, confidence and easiness to get used to it.
I actually think it's better than tenergy for all levels under semi pro. I do not understand why that rubber has not been much on the map. It's one of the best ever imho.

I have played with Ultimum 47.5 on my fh for last two season. In my opinion this is one of the most underrated rubbers there is. I use 7-8 fh rubbers / season and Ultimum has been by far the best post sg rubber I have played with.  have played with Tenergy 05, 80, 80 fx, Joola Rhyzm, Airoc Astro M, JP02 and tested several others. For around 15 sheets of Ultimum I have had 1 which was a little worst than the others. That is main reason why I love it so much. All the other rubbers which I have played with have had much lower quality in terms of beeing equal with each other. Unluckily for me Cornilleau has stopped producing this great rubber and I have to say that Cornilleaus new Pro Gt´s are not even close to level of Ultimum serie.

Now I have to try to find a new fh rubber for next season. All suggestion would be highly appreciated:).

I have wrote a review of Target Ultimum 47.5 to TTD. You can check it out from here.

What is the point of playing safe shots when you can miss with style
