Even older generation ESN rubbers like Acuda S1, Genius, Hexer, Rakza 7 are faster and spinnier compared to Rozena.

If you want to keep BTY, T80 is a good choice.

T05 is the obvious choice imho.

I've played T05 before, I didn't really care for it. T25fx was okay for me, but I played that one three years ago when I was at a different level. T64 was also okay for me, but the sheet I tried of that was a really old used one that I got for free. I don't think it accurately represented how a new sheet would play.

I was also considering Stiga Genesis. I had a hit with a club-mates Genesis S, but the blade it was on made it hard for me to judge the rubber accurately.

You can probably find someone with T05/80 at your club and ask to try their setup to get a feel for it.  But if you're not committed to Butterfly there's a slew of rubbers that should be up to the task without the price tag.  I like Xiom Vega Pro a lot for this.  But most major brands have a few options that could work extremely well for you.

Agreed. My recommendation is Tibhar Genius.

Tenergy 80 =/= Rozena with faster sponge

T64 would probably be closer to rozena in terms of hardness but with more speed and spin from BTY, more speed than spin though.

You can also try evolution EL-P which is a bit harder overall, but faster than rozena.

T05 is significantly harder feel, obviously spinnier and faster than rozena. T80 is also harder but not as spinny as T05 and feels a little more tame IMO.

Depends what overall rubber hardness you prefer. Many choices out there.

Xiom Vega Europe is one of the top five rubbers sold in Japan and there is a good reason. Great spin and speed and control.   JoeB

I disagree. On Timo Boll ZLC the Vega Europe is a good control rubber, but it lacks power and spin is merely average. Genius is vastly superior.

Evo EL-P +1, played with Rozena before and found that the bite on the ballistic not as good and it didn’t spin as much. But Evolution EL-P is just right in this, it is slightly spinnier than Rozena and its about the same speed.   But the bite is much better.

Rozena is not sooo bad. It is made for a different strategy.
T05 = fantastic spin, but also bad control in the passive game.
Rozena = less (but enough) spin, but much easier to handle and less spin-sensitive.
In my eyes 70% of all T05 users would play better (more successfull) with rubbers like Rozena, Karis M, Acuda Blue P1 or similar rubbers.

If you want a similar feeling, but more spin and speed, T80 is a good choice.

Most definetly yes.

Edit: But if you are having control issues with baracuda, then Genius is your best option.
I will also be switching back from Baracuda to Genius on BH for the remaining season, because of better control.

I was teaching some 10 year old kids with yasaka extra and baracuda 1.8mm it was a tad bouncy for them
I m looking for something soft like sriver fx but modern not bouncy and some control some rubbers are too fast at 1.8mm. durability is another must .

I see. In that case, Vega Europe would be a good idea.
