I've been playing around with one ply hinoki for a bit recently. And curiously, two identical sized blades with identical weight, can feel quite different. I am referring to vibration. One blade may be very solid where ball bounce on it and there's almost no vibration. Another, one can feel the blade vibrate in hand. Is there consensus as to whether one may prefer to have vibration or not in a blade? Thanks.

No there is no consensus. It's up to personal preference. Consensus is, that it's easier to learn strokes with a blade which provides sufficient feedback. With a carbon blade you sometimes can't feel if you hit the ball right in the sweetspot or slightly off, with an all wood blade it's easier to feel.
