I was expecting a bad ball but it's actually quite good to play with. Very consistent and feels the same as the D40 ball but feels harder/heavier very nice feel on the bat. |

Yea, the OUTDOOR D40+ ball is weighing 2.9 grammes, compared to regular D40+ weight 2.73 grammes. Obviously, the OD outer shell should be somewhat thicker and better durability as a result. The ball was specifically designed by DHS on ITTF request, with the view of using as a mandatory ball of the ITTF 'TTX events." https://www.ittf.com/ttx/ |
