Hi, I'm relatively new to table tennis. I've been watching
Wang Hao's instructional on the RPB (https://youtu.be/mrrIDgT6TnY), and
practicing with a robot at home.
Here is a video showing my RPB. https://youtu.be/X7S0VDG6RCQ The hitting point seems a bit awkward at times and my
fingers get tired quickly, and there is a bit of strain on my shoulders as I
try to force my arm to lunge forward. I think there's something wrong with my
form. Could I get some feedback on my RPB? Thanks. |

Hey man welcome! You are raising your elbow to much when you hit the ball. You should keep your arm high and your elbow foreward but don't raise it keep it still and accelerate with the forearm and wrist.

I am very new to the sport myself & wish I had RPB grip but I am cursed with shakehand grip. First of all, how did you decide to play using RPB in the first place ? Because it is the modern fad ? I saw more on this at an article written by someone at

i'm going to make a video of my RPB that you can use as guidance. I do both close and mid-distance RPB combined with RPB punch blocks. Super lethal :)

Hi, I decided to play using penhold because I had a jpen racket at home when I first started. I found that doing the whole traditional BH hurt my wrist, but I liked the flexibility of the penhold FH, so I delved into cpen and RPB. An article written on this would be interesting! Where can I find it?
Yes, that would be great thanks. Could you post the videos here when you've finished making the videos?
