Does anybody have a review for this blade? Thanks. Also, I know that Wang Liqin uses either the Offensive CR or CR WRB. Does anybody know which one he uses? Thanks.

OC Cr, he doesn't use WRB.

I use the non-wrb version too, and its a pretty good blade. very loopable, great for spinning and looping. blocks are okay but not the best. pretty good dwell time and medium feel i'd say. not that crisp on hits and block and flat hits, but pretty good for looping

I have used this blade before and it's more suitable for those in advance stage of skill. Those who opt for 100% feeling from the blade and have the ability to generate their own power instead of relying on the power of the blade. The worst is it shake a lot.

Its a very nice blade with super looping characteristics, its got a hardish feel and works best with fast stiga rubbers, I'd recommend almana and optimum mp on it, believe me, I wasted a lot of money finding a good combination for it, its a bit unstable when blocking, overall its worth a try

how is this blade comparing to the normal offensive classic in terms of speed, spin, control and dwell time?

also, would you say OC CR is better than the normal OC?

thanks

Nice thin blade.I would use thick rubber on it if you like to loop it will generate a lot of spin.Who knows what wang is using.I have both the off cr and a hurricane king. They are of similiar size, weight and thickness but the hk is a lot faster and stiffer.I think the speed comes from the thick middle plies of koto on the hk

i have used this blade before. Good control, good dwelling time and thus spinny. However, it vibrates a lot. If you got used to vibrating blade, then it's alright. Not me though.

Stiga Offensive CR 90 5,5 15,1 15,8
Nittaku ANV 86 6,5 15,2 16,1 5
DHS WL 90 5,9 15,1 16 5
Dhs hurricane king 5,6 15,1 16,1

I have four Offensive Clones :) Comparing the blades are simple because they are made of more or less the same type of veeners. They have the same hard feeling. OC Cr is the best for loop and block and control and best feeling. The Hc king are stiffer, faster. DHS Wl is even more stiffer harder to control very simular to Clipper wood. The Nittaku is OFF+ too fast and your game gets very one dimensional, and predictable, you should just attack.
