Hello friends, Have you seen Cor Du Buy thick Hinoki blade? I have never seen such a thing until today, when I received it. The blade had the problem with separating plies perpendicular because of some micro rounded pieces posted inside the wood by unknown reason and only the rubbers kept the blade do not go on three different directions. I fixed it successful with a very strong glue for heavy wooden constructions. No chance to separate again there. Same problem I have seen in Tibhar Hinoki blades too. I will post pictures, but that blade made me wondering I have missed something about the old blades in table tennis. Cor Du Buy and Hinoki !?!?!? And something more - After Moonbeam's handle, this is probably the most comfortable FL blade that I have had in my hand. These both are pretty different as playing skills, but I think that CDB is just a wonderful blade that I have never supposed to exist. The blade is exactly 100 grams, but feels very balanced, it could be a beast with pips OUT rubber. If someone had the same - please let me know more details for the model. Blade is named by Bert Van Der Helm, that model blade is usually with a Korbel construction. Maybe this blade something more special or made by individual order, because it is visible it is not a new stock, due to the varnished handle... And rubbers were the original ones Cor Du Buy Topper Super Loop 2.0mm. Edited by kolevtt - 09/19/2020 at 1:32am |
