Looks like there's a new tenergy. Reminds me of t64 since it has skinny pips. Compared to t64, the description of t19 seems that the pips are also narrow but potentially shorter and more densely packed. Edited by Jeff(ATTC) - 01/20/2021 at 4:15pm |

Presumably the same (slippery and not durable at all) topsheet as the other tenergies - why can't they just put a dignics topsheet on a tenergy 05 sponge to have best of both worlds?

Hi,
A rubber brand is required to have a definition to make meaningful its name. Tenergy, as technology marches on, is, as all established rubbers, stuck. In Tenergy's definition is a specific sponge, made of materials that produce certain playing characteristics. Tenergy's definition also includes a top sheet made of specific materials. Whereas some comparatively minor alterations may be made to adjust the characteristics, the essence of the rubber brand remains. This latest version is an example of a most capable veteran attempting to adopt to a decisive trend in the sport's equipment, feeble though the attempt may be. In the spirit of the Waldnerian "When the feeling decides", a huge contingent respond positively to the feeling of Tenergy. This change is for them. It is not a vector into the sport's future. Thanks.

Tenergy: Two weeks of heaven, followed by three months of excellence, then, a nice rubber.
