S3 has lighter, bouncier sponge and a slightly less tacky topsheet compared to H3.

I'm curious about this as well. How is the quality control of the TG3? I know the sponge hardness variation for the commercial H3 is ridiculous (something like rand(39-46d)?) Does tg3 have the same problem?

kindof off-topic question, but when playing with H3, should you still be using speed glue or not?

have to? No.
Might be handy cause else it'll hit abit like a brick? Yes. It's still a traditional chinese rubber after all. |

Skyline was just a quick attempt by dhs to make a buck. They released it with the teaser that pro players were switching to it, but they never did as far as I can tell. To me, it seems like g666. A little less tacky and a little thinner. The sponge is exactly the same as the h3 i'm getting now. They charged premium money for g666, basically. And I for one was stupid enough to buy 2 sheets.

rustyfo: kindof off-topic question, but when playing with H3, should you still be using speed glue or not? I glue my H3 provicial with 1 layer rubber cement first then I came brush my rubber very well. If you are not glue the h3, U cant brush ur rubber very well.

I would think skyline, being less tacky and more euro-ish would be better for looping.
By the way, I have a sheet of red skyline I'd sell for the same price as h3, which is $14. |

in my experience with skyline 3.. it is good for looping style of play due to its much softer sponge than H3, but i find it difficult to drive or to make a power spin shot with skyline.
well, i guess its all depends on the stroke... |

It's nothing special, for $150, the box and pamphlet that comes with it probably costs $50

I guess being made by DHS and used by WLQ, the blade probably feels relatively good with H2/H3.

skyline 3 is faster than h3 and a bit bouncier and has better sponge.. the skyline 3 rubber has a low throw angle while h3 has a high one.. lighter and a bit softer too

This is slightly off topic. I would like to know the diff between Skyline 3 and H2. I thought you would know Yogi bear as you made a switch from both sides H2 to both sides skyline 3.
Could you compare and elaborate on difference between H2 and Skyline 3?

That's the new 388d-1, which is supposed to be an upgrade of the savigaV. I got covers pics for that and the new quattro inspirit. I put the long pips on there cause I'll have them in a few days, whereas it will be april before they come out with the inspirit quattro. More importantly, you emailed me about the whereabouts of your order. I lost that email and need you to email me back at my regular address at [email protected] |
