How you guys take glue with you if you are flying? Can you take in your carry on luggage or checked-in luggages?

Even in main luggage I don't think it's allowed since it's highly flammable. The long lasting glues are OK....

No glue on board. Checked in or hand carried. |

In recent past I have carried it few times in the hand carried luggage within North America, it does not come up in the scan. But as said below if detected it will be taken away.

You should check with your airlines. You can see from above - different airlines have different policies.

The one time I carried a bottle of Blue Whale 2 glue, I wrapped it inside a plastic bag and taped, then inside two socks, inside a main luggage that has sealing around the edges, the hard shell style suitcases. A dog sniffed the suitcase and nothing. I guess I had some luck.

In a related incident at Frankfurt (Germany) airport , as soon as this security guy saw my racket in my carry-on , he pulled me out of the queue. He took me to a side room and the racket was put thru a what looked like choromatograph. Sadly since I did not reglue, I passed . The bitter & hilarious irony was it happened to me LOL
If I had known , I thought may be I should have reglued with undetectable chemicals just before I boarded my plane headed into Frankfurt just to screw with them. Also I was not stopping in Frankfurt & was in transit to Asia. There was no table in Frankfurt airport either. I guess Germans are too strict and do not want ANYONE using illegal glues LOL |

Most likely - no. Nowadays most airlines do not allow bottles with liquids (especially non-beverage, strange-chemical-looking ones) in the carry-ons. |
