as far as I'm concerned, 1 ply hinoki shkhnd blade plays like someth'n else. Out of the world of 5 ply, 7 ply or whatever composite/high tech shkhnd blades. Some like it some don't. Am I right to say that?
@Pingping..ur tactic kinda works on ppls' minds...

Beautiful blade!  If it were 85 grams or lighter I'd be very tempted indeed.

It will be very hard to find one at that weight range.  I got a few of those and they all weigh in mid 90's range.

If I were to buy another blade, I'd want its weight to be consistent with my other blades:  Darker Speed 90 = 85 grams; Acoustic = 84 grams; Borko = 80 grams; Clipper Wood = 86 grams; Korbel = 89 grams.  Only my Korbel is heavy relative to my other blades, but I compensate with lighter rubbers.

I agree.  Lately people tend to be very sensitive or picky about the weight.

True, balance is important but unlike tennis rackets,  TT blades don't come with a swing weight, so static weight is the next best indicator of swing weight.

This is a unique blade and it's hard to find if you don't have the right channel to source from.

Bump for good luck!
