    Posted: 03/11/2007 at 11:53am
Dear all,

Believe most have watched Timo played sidespin drop when receiving service before. Tried it myself and failed miserably.

My question now is HOW:-
1) Should my hand/bat be tight or loose when doing it?
2) When is this being used? Receiving sidespin, bottom spin or top spin?
3) What is the angle of my bat should be?

Those who have done it successfully are most welcome to share his experience.

Thanks.

I think that your hand should be loose.

And he is using it against sidespin,No spin. And it can be used against underspin(like waldner).

Is this the same sidespin dropshot that Ma Lin uses?
