i know that the motion for looping shakehand and looping for penhold is basically the same but i have to say that it is much easier to loop shakehand i am not really sure why must be the hand position or something but driving the bal is much easier with penhold for you penhold players what do you try to think about motion/body position/hand psotion wise for a successful penhold loop?

When using cpen press down your thumb against the blade as you contact the ball to loop.

the only thing i can think of is the hand position, normally i hold my paddle like this:
then like genomic and pingpong said, when i loop i press down with my thumb and sorta loosen up and extend my index finger: of course, you'll have to make adjustments every time you loop, so try to find a hand position between the normal hold and this exaggerated loop hold and practice to find what you are comfortable with. |

penhold looping requires you to straighten your thumb and move your index finger such that the blade is very rigid

Make sure the blade is pointing down during your loop, makes life a lot easier.
