forget the rubbers, what did u do with the racket to make it look so dark and ugly? As far as the rubber combo goes, definitely interesting, but i guess u are doing this for fun coz obviously it wont be legal to use it. |

it was the last jpen blade i bought before migrating to playing shakehand...i sweat a lot everest81, thats why it dark and ugly, all black and messy, even the pointing finger tip cork broke off due to clog with sweat, it had to be replaced wit a soft vinyl...
it not that my intention of cheating, its more of optimising what excess rubber i have at this point of time...some thing happen to the lower part of the sriver fx rubber ... and its more ugly than the handle itself
i find it amusing fooling with it though :) ...pros : short heavy backspin serve can be hit/flick at will .... cons : as you go for that big top spin, the Lp just kicked in and the ball just fall-off out of the blue...

by the way, it's illegal. ittf rules states that the playing surface must be consistent and even throughout.. so cannot be half pip out, half pip in..

better off using short pip with heavy layers of spinmax on the lower half then but right now with the bans happening i wont waste time on a lost cause to getting the edge! You may end up as the guy that no one wants to play with!!! Practise and keep on training your giving the j-pen guys a bad wrap! Maybe better trying chinese p-hold with long pip backhand or since your recent transition to shake hand, long pip backhand and learn to twiddle well!
