This question has been asked before, and the answer is always something like
H2O2 and Charcoal lighter fluid now you can add PO. |

I use water with a little bit of rubbing alcohol, it really does a good job of cleaning the surface and keeping the tackiness in tact

Shouldn't be a problem if you soak it with enough water. Besides, the cheap toilet papers at the clubs I play are pretty rough. Good for rubber cleaning but terrible for our *ss |

during play, just breathe on it and wipe off.
when i get home use h2o and a damp sponge and let air dry
this seems to work great on the rubbers i use (not tacky).

I saw a YouTube of a player who licked it before each serve. If I play someone who licks rubber it better be a girl!

Heres what I do I use a dedicated sponge with water, then to speed up the drying process I very lightly squeegee off the excess water with a credit card. By doing this it not only speeds up the drying time but it also helps wipe off some of the dust particles left by the sponge. Give it a try, works for me.

There is so much dust in the air it starts getting to your rubber instantly as it's exposed to the elements. Put a protective adhesive film over as quickly as possible when done cleaning.

i try and avoid human sweat, saliva - all have some degree of grease which builds up after a while. case in point - if your shakehand style - you'll see a print where your forefinger rests on the BH rubber. Use warm water and wipe off with microfibre cloth (readily available at local hardware store) after each game and then attach rubber protection when dry. keeps it tacky and clean...

I use a lint roller (tape on a roll) after I wipe my rubbers clean to get it perfectly clean. lol It works, no damage to my rubber, no noticeable decrease in tackiness or grippyness, just clean rubber sheets.

The only method I recommend for cleaning your bat is to breathe heavily
onto your rubber creating some moisture and then simply wipe it with
your hand. This of course assumes that your hands are clean and you
havent just finished downing a greasy souvlaki for lunch. Take a look
at the video on my blog (address below) to see how easy and effective this is. Of course you
can buy a specialised rubber cleaner which will also work well but why
spend the money. And what do you do in the middle of a match if you
drop your bat on the floor and it picks up some dust? Its not really
easy to pull out your rubber cleaner. So learn how to clean it in
seconds by breathing on it and you are set for life.

first of all use a clean sponge, dont buy those expensive sponges that these people are selling, just go to you local walmart and get those sponges that women use to put makeup on, they are very soft and most of all its really cheap, like 2 bucks for a big bag of 36 pieces, and they are washable too, on cleaning agent, the best will be in your case is to use the YASAKA recomended cleaner, WATER is ok too, but i would recomend using filtered water, like 25cent a gallon, so that it is free from minerals and clorine.
BEING PRACTICAL AND ECONOMICAL IS THE EASIEST WAY TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN YOU GEAR....
