Lately there have been some nicely priced blade offerings and these two are no exception. Good deal bump.

OMG ! The Borko looks like mine except for the handle that I have conical and yours is straight. Mine is 90g. Should be Limba outer and rosewood next. Center core is a mystery, he doesn't want to say...Suspect ayous/abachi though.
@ sbd : please confirm this to me .
@ usuzu : If so you got a deal. PM sent.

not sure. never asked.
I think they are:
Limba
Rosewood or Walnut
Maple?

This blade is faster than Violin. It is great a looping blade, very sharp and loud. It suits very well with m/hard and hard sponge rubbers.

Borko looks beautiful.
Could you compare the speed, flexibility, feel of the Borko to say Petr Korbel, Clipper Wood or some other blades you have tried (I know you've tried a lot of blades). Also, how big is the head of the Borko (normal, compact size?).

In the end, the Violin are both sold, doesn't matter whoever got it, right? Mais cela fait plaisir a me femm, Francaise, de me traduire les messages de temps en temps.
