I'm looking for a cpen blade with a bigger head dimension. from nexy's specs on their inventory, below are my findings...
Violin 168mx151mm - can someone that owned/owns one verify this?
Hurricane Hao 163x151 - can someone that owned/owns one verify this?
Hurricane King 656 164 x 151 - can someone that owned/owns one verify this?
Please recommend others if possible...Thanks

All DHS cpens have big heads. If OSP cpens had the same size, I would gladly acquisite some of them for my collection. |

All real cpens have much larger heads than the shakehand versions. Really cool fact if you want to make a larger shakehand blade like say WLQ's old cpen sized Stiga OC CR. Or any old Stiga type blade which were all in the 163 range. DHS, Stiga and Yasaka all make the cpen version big. People often ask how to make a blade more heavy and more powerful... Well there's the answer

Violin's head size is not that big for sure, about 161*151, which is like the typical size for Cpens.
Among the blades I have ever owned, Yasaka extra and Nittaku Ludeack Power have the largest head sizes. |

Just a quick measure of some of my cpens. STIGA Offensive NCT, Rosewood 5 and Intencity NCT are more or less 159-160 x 150. YASAKA Yeo, Malin Carbon and YE are 162 x 149-150. DHS Hao 1,2,3 are 164 x 150. Butterfly Yoshida Kaii is 160 x 150. Donic Baum Esprit seems the biggest but is actually about the same as DHS. May be due to the thickness.

Valor Table Tennis has some nice C-pen blades with larger heads. I may also be able to make you one so long as you use one of the woods I sell.

Total length 242 mm Length from end of handle to top of the blade : 160 mm Width 151 mm. |
