Mariano Loukov has developed some new models of blades with very thick balsa core (10 mm - 25 mm). I was able to test a few of them and they perform really, really well on drives, blocks and give tons of spin reversal with long pips OX. See below a sample video.

No. It is a 20+ mm balsa core blade with two 10 mm edge tapes.

It's one of his thinner blades. A veteran player bought a 30 mm blade from him (shakehand) and beat a couple of strong juniors (2400+). The reversal from the pips and the low trajectory is increadible. Also,  on hard hits it is faster than carbon blades.

Not quite sure how you think that would be illegal.  Gluing two (or more) layers of wood together is what happens in 99% of blades.  There is no thickness regulation for blades, only for rubbers.

However, his footwear is illegal, and in the second video his shorts are illegal (on the basis of crimes against humanity).

Before testing of 30mm blades, I think most important for each player is to has some skills with at least 6-6.5mm blade.
Mariano is world level class player he can test also 130mm blade without any problem.

A big WOW for Ficho  Clap

Here is a sample video in which Mr Loukov plays with a very thick balsa core blade called Revolver.
