I used to use PPLive to watch and record CCTV5 (using WM Recorder). But now it seems PPLive doesn't stream CCTV5 anymore. I can watch CCTV5 using TVAnts, but can't record. Does anyone know a combination to watch and record CCTV5? Thanks |

I just found a good combination to watch and record CCTV5. For watching, use TVAnts. For recording, use HiDownload. |

tvants: go the teh website, and click on the button with the 4 chinese characters and the bouncing 'down' arrow. this will download the program. install it, and make sure tha you allow it server access if you have a firewall. the rest is pretty easy point and click.

Have u tried WinFast PVR? My friend installed Winfast PVR in his PC and hooked the cable line in his computer. I can surf and watch cable tv at the same time in his PC. If I could spot a good match or scene, I just "press" the record button then it will record and save it in the hard disk. |
