timo boll alc + bryce highspeed both sides and he did quite well actually. I tried his bat a couple of times and it was very decent. for blocking the bryce highspeed is very good. also it's not as bouncy as tenergy in the short game. he also had like an fl handle but he slimmed it down to an st. this was also rather comfortable.

"bryce" was the one that needed speed glue... tons of it. then they came with "bryce speed" after the speed glue era... but it was still slower than tenergy. in the end they came up with "bryce highspeed" and this one has a pretty good speed. I may be wrong but I bet a typical 2200 player would do better with a bryce highspeed than with a tenergy 05. the reason because it has more control in the short game and is easier for blocking. this guy I mention was a good player... I remember he tried tenergy but in the end he sticked to bryce highspeed.

Your post started out like a poem...I thought that's where you were going with this thread. Pretty cool. Something like:

Nice job stiltt. Maybe change it up a little with the following:
I was playing with Timo Boll ALC, It was not working for me, I switched to Timo Boll ZLC, And that worked better for me.
